Smells Like Teen Spirit

Smells Like
It's the end of the semester. Winter Break is finally here. Remember when winter break meant two weeks of no school and no worries. When we would have snowball fights in front of school, or with our neighbors, and be excited that we can stay up late. Now winter break is a scramble to find seasonal jobs while catching up on old friendships that have been strained from months or years away at college. I think its safe to say we've reached an age where our lifestyles are our lifestyles. I'm sure a few people still live the college life/home life double life but that'll fade soon. And I don't know about you but I officially have no sleep schedule. This type of lifestyle requires that you catch zzzzz's whenever you can, whether it be in class (Some of you are saying "I hate that guy who always sleeps in class"), yeah I'm that guy, or on a train ride to center city(It's not safe I don't suggest it). If you do one thing this winter break I suggest you silence your phone (or put it on vibrate if you can't handle that) and get some sleep or at least take some naps.

Sleep disorders affect millions of people. According to a national survey, 54% of adults said they have experienced at least one symptom of insomnia1.

Teen Spirit
9 Hot New Things To Look Out For
  1. Look out for a New Dance Jam; a remix by Rick Ross featuring everyone's favorite dancer singer actor Chris Brown Speedin' Remix.
  2. The Jacksonville Indie Funk Band: Black Kids. Self described "Partie Traumatic" catch them at your nearest myspace today. Despite the band name their are 3 white people and two black people. Well they don't even look black they look like dark skinned native Americans or Arabs but who am I to judge.
  3. BlackGold: the emo-esque openers for Panic at the Disco's recent tour. They had a pretty decent live show, and deliver well in their song "Come Down"
  4. If you haven't listened to the Jay-Z American Gangsta album you're slacking. ("Talk to em'" Jay-Z diss by Joe Buddens)
  5. For all my Outkast fans Andre 3000 droppin' some more country twanged knowledge in Outkast's new track featuring new comer Marsha Ambrosius "Da Art of Story Tellin' pt. 4"
  6. Big City Entertainment offers an exclusive leak of their upcoming album yet to be entitled, aired only for a limited time.
  7. If you're not up on this song yet you're slacking hardcore: Amy Winehouse Back to Black
  8. Grammy Award Winners 3 6 Mafia is back with a single On Sum Chrome
  9. I Love to hate this song: In My Car by the Pack... I really only added it so you can love hating it with me

Lemme know what you think of these songs/artists- we're the fans-we're the future.

As always its ya boy Magic aka Jimmy Mack aka Mag the young man wonder

Be Safe Be Happy God Bless
