Lyrical Reflection

Take a look over these ten lyrics and try to leave comments on how you feel about them or what they mean to you. I am not going to leave the artists until my next post, so try and guess the artists and possibly the song as an incentive. I will reply and discuss comments and how these lyrics work with me. By the way, these lyrics aren't similar in any way. They are just random ones that I found interesting.
Note: These lyrics come from 10 different songs. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

1. " Liar, lawyer,/ Mirror for ya,/ What's the difference?"

"Pagan baby, What you got, I need./ Don't be savin', Spread your love on me."

" Already heard it for the hundredth time/ One hundred more, all have the same sound/ Running around with all the sheep that you know/ "It's so sublime, they're breaking new ground"/ "They're sure to have another hit this time""

" I'm riding hard on the last lines of every lie,/ And the BMX bike of my life is about to explode,/ I'm about to explode."

5. "
We've all been lost for most of this life/ Everywhere we turn more hatred surrounds us/ And I know that most of us just ain't right/ Following the wrong steps, being led by pride"

6. "
Best to keep things in the shallow end/ Cause I never quite learned how to swim/ I just didn't want to know"

7. "
No apologies ever need be made, I know you better than you fake it"

8. "
It doesn't matter who's to blame/when all of the victims lose their names,/and all of our past mistakes/are tattooed on the lives we claim."

9. "
You can hide your love its true /it's the freedom game /you can see it every day, /'cause your freedom ain't free"

10. "
Just you wait and see/As school life is a/It is a woken dream/Aren't you feeling alone?"

I've never heard the song from which these lyrics come, so i do not know the musical context. I can still derive an interpretation from the words though. i feel like this song is about the darkness of life and the never ending monotony of some peoples day to day. the wants that plague us like hunger and what we can a can't do about it. i think in the end we just want it to stop so that we get chance to feel happy again but it have been there for such a long time that this misery has just been the way and for some that familiarity is comfortable for others its a reason to engage.
